Support Solutions is a private, nonprofit organization that provides services to adults with disabilities and mental health challenges. With a staff of over 225 people, we offer residential, day habilitative, and personal supports. Out of the Agency’s two offices in Lewiston and Saco, we have been serving individuals and families in central and southern Maine since 1997.

Do you have a desire to serve as a role model and mentor while providing support in helping individuals obtain their goals?
If so and you are able to commit to the following, a
Direct Support Professional position may be right for you:
* Advocate and serve as appropriate role model for the individual and treat them with dignity and respect.
* Participate in developing and carrying out plans to meet the needs of the individual.
* Organize, supervise, and interact with individuals during work shift.
* Be creative with planning recreation outside of the home.
* Assist with shopping, meal preparation, and maintaining cleanliness of personal space.
* Transport individuals to community activities with use of personal vehicle.
* Complete required documentation.
